Ekamou (Pty) Ltd is a Cape Town–based beauty‑tech startup founded in 2020 by Freddy Yoann Atangana, a Cameroonian-born entrepreneur. Drawing inspiration from his family's entrepreneurial legacy, Freddy noticed a significant digital divide among South African beauty professionals — including hairdressers, makeup and nail artists — who struggled with limited tech skills, low earnings, and inadequate logistics TechBuild Africa+1VC4A+1.
